This training provides early childhood educators with a step-by-step approach to building safer, more structured, and more responsive learning environments. Participants will learn how to prevent injuries, strengthen supervision practices, plan with purpose, and respond to behavior in ways that support children’s growth and development. This session focuses on real classroom challenges and provides practical strategies educators can implement immediately to create more organized, engaging, and well-managed classrooms.

  • P – Prevent Injuries: Creating Safe Learning Environments: Explore proactive strategies to reduce risks and prevent common injuries in early childhood settings. Participants will learn how to identify hazards, implement safety practices, and create environments that protect children during daily routines and activities. 
  • A – Actively Supervise: Seeing, Positioning, and Engaging: Learn what active supervision really looks like in practice. This topic focuses on positioning, scanning, listening, and engaging with children to prevent incidents, support behavior, and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
